On behalf of TPDA-DGOI international-2012 scientific meeting chairman. I would like to invite all friends and colleagues to join us to extend your knowledge and skill in the field of Implant Dentistry in Bangkok Thailand.
As you all realized that this is our first time that we will join DGOI in order to have firm relationship with each other and be able to contribute more to our profession. As the chairman, I promise to bring you the most prominent and updated topics by the year 2012 that will worth every minute you spend in Bangkok. Our land of Smiles is famous for excellent hospitallity, beautiful culture and excitement. MESSAGE FROM DGOI VICE PRESIDENT
Dear Colleagues,
It is my great pleasure on behalf of the entire board of the German society of implantology (DGOI) to welcome you to the first international TPDA-DGOI congress in Bangkok. An outstanding event with world class speakers from Asia and Europe (East meets West) will update you in the current state of the art in implantology.
The two-day meeting will cover topics like 3D planning and navigated surgery, minimal invasive surgical procedures and creative augmentation techniques as well as modern implant prosthodontics with customized abutments, CAD CAM technology with full ceramic restorations for the ultimate aesthetic outcome.
The human bone cadaver course at Chulalongkorn university on Monday will give the delegates the opportunity to learn bone and soft tissue management techniques like bone splitting, bone block transplantation, the bone ring technique, sinus floor elevation and soft tissue procedures like vestibuloplasty and connective tissue grafts under realistic conditions on human soft cadavers.
I am proud after 4 years of intensive collaboration of TPDA and DGOI to announce this first international congress in Bangkok.
I am sure it will attract many delegates from Germany, Europe, Thailand and the adjacent Asian countries.
A platform for implantological specialists and general dental practitioners to meet, discuss and exchange their knowledge in a friendly atmosphere. The exclusive scientific program on one side and the experience of Thailand hospitality with multiple historical and cultural highlights will make the meeting in Bangkok to an unforgetable experience.

Dear Colleagues,
It is my great pleasure to invite you to the TPDA-DGOI Thai-German Congress during January 7-8-9, 2012 in Bangkok, Thailand. This auspicious Congress is attentively organized by Thai Private Dentist Association (TPDA) in Thailand in collaboration with German Society of Oral Implantology (DGOI) in Germany.
The theme of the Congress is “The Updated Implantology 2012”. This will certainly respond to interests in the implant dentistry. As you are well aware that nowadays the oral implantology becomes a common daily practice. The technologies in both materials and practice have been continuously and remarkably researched and developed to meet the requirements in the implant dentistry.
Participation in this Congress will enhance and broaden your knowledge and expertise. You will be communicated and educated the updated information and innovation by the well known speakers of respected professors and leading clinicians. The generous sharing of knowledge by our speakers will enable you to exploit the updated education in your practice
Since year 2006 TPDA in association with DGOI has organized the Curriculum for Basic Course of Implantology in Thailand. I am grateful to Dr. Prasan Tangjaturongrasme and Dr. Fred Bergmann, who have initiated and supported this educational program. The Curriculum has been successfully conducted for the first participant group from year 2006 until this year 2011 for the seventh group.
By this educational achievement we are encouraged to organize the year 2012 Congress. Your kind support for our endeavors ensures that we will continue working for further educational programs and activities.
Apart from gaining updated knowledge and shared experience from this Congress, you will have an impressive experience from visiting Thailand. The Kingdom of Thailand offers a great variety of attractions; spectacular scenery, historical places, culture, splendid palaces and temples and World Heritage sites.
